South Seas House - new computers for use by the community (for free!)
The City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks is proud to announce the BTOP (Broadband Technology Opportunities Program). This program is designed to provide free use of computers and broadband access to people living in disadvantaged communities. This will assist in bridging the technological gap, while providing access to jobs, computer training, and educational opportunities, all for free.
This program is made possible in part through a Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce, with funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The South Seas House has received 14 new computers. For more information please visit http://laparks.org/btop/
