Muriel's of Course, a new restaurant on Washington Blvd, will be joining us at the Wellington Square Certified Farmers Market and cooking up breakfast starting this Sunday. They will have pancakes, waffles, omelets, grits, country potatoes, veggie sausage and fruit smoothies. Come join us in welcoming them to the market.
There are all kinds of wonderful fruits and vegetables of summer available now at the market. Excellent white and yellow peaches and nectarines, rainier and red bing cherries, watermelons and of course some of the best strawberries, raspberries and blueberries around. There are red, yellow and green bell peppers, fresh sweet corn and a variety of eggplants to grill outside. Come and enjoy the beautiful fresh locally grown pesticide free greens of all kinds to cook or make fresh summer salads. It's the bounty of summer at our neighborhood farmers market. |
