Hello, neighbors! With officials projecting record rainfall this winter, it’s a great time to start thinking about plants for your home. Well lucky for you the Native Plant Seminar is here to the rescue! UNNC is proud to bring Lisa Novick from the Theodore Payne Foundation to our neighborhood council Lisa will be talking about the wonderfulness that is California native plants and, even cooler, she will give you tips on garden design so you can create your own California paradise.

So where and when is this event happening? At the Washington Irving Library at 4117 W. Washington Blvd, Los Angeles on December 12, 2015 from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be coffee and breakfast treats for everyone and great things to learn. We have space for 62 people so please send an email to marius.stelly@unnc.org to let me know if you will be attending. Bring a photo of the area you want to plant and special paper will be provided to create your masterpiece. We hope to see you there!
