This Saturday, September 9, from 3 to 9 p.m., the Friends of the Jefferson Library serve up a festive event culminating with an outdoor screening of the animated film Encanto in Leslie Shaw Park.
Grab the kids, plus your neighbors and friends, and bring a blanket for family-friendly food and entertainment. Leslie Shaw Park is located at 2223 West Jefferson Blvd. (at 3rd Avenue, next to the library, in Jefferson Park).
Thank you to Council District 10 for its support. Several other entities, including UNNC, are also assisting in the event.
