Spring Eggstravaganza

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
South Seas House Recreation Center, 2301 West 24th Street

Everyone is invited to a Spring Egg Hunt for children and their families at the South Seas House this Saturday. There will be performances, arts & crafts, raffles, refreshments, and timed egg hunt (separated into age groups). UNNC hopes to see you there!

Jefferson Branch Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Jefferson Branch Library is hosting a used book sale with a spotlight on female authors (in honor of Women’s History Month) along with adult fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, graphic novels, cookbooks, and other lifestyle books. What a great way to add to your bookshelves!

The line starts at Bronson and Coliseum! Mothers in Action, Council District 10, the Los Angeles Sentinel, the L.A. Sanitation Department, and other sponsors invite you to shred your confidential documents and dispose of certain hazardous waste items (see lists below of things to bring and things NOT to bring) this Saturday.
