Free resources to help your business are available during Small Business Month (May, 2024).

Navigating and finding business resources to help your business can be overwhelming, particularly for small businesses who may be unfamiliar with the region’s vibrant business-support ecosystem.

Here’s some help. The Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, the Los Angeles City Economic and Workforce Development Department, and the Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity invite you to attend free in-person events in celebration of National Small Business Month. This event is a County-City partnership that seeks to help small businesses recover, grow, and thrive by bringing together the Region’s top free business resources, services, and programs – all in one place!  This event will include panel discussions, a resource expo that convenes all major public and private providers of free business support, on-site free services (including business assessment, legal aid, certification and procurement clinic, credit counseling, compliance support, permitting assistance, etc.), and much more!  The April 29 event at the Coliseum features Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell.
