CicLAvia—West Adams Meets University Park (and Jefferson Park)
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Jefferson Boulevard from Vermont to La Brea

UNNC hopes to see you at Sunday’s (February 23) CicLAvia—West Adams meets University Park, which closes Jefferson between Vermont Avenue and La Brea Boulevard to create a car-free environment.

CicLAvia is a non-profit working with communities across Los Angeles County to open streets for a day. They transform L.A. streets into car-free areas so that the community can safely stroll, bike, skate, run, and play. CicLAvia is about reimagining our city streets as welcoming spaces for everyone—places for walking, running, rolling, skating, cycling, gathering, and enjoying the moment.

CicLAvia is NOT a race or a marathon, nor bike-only event. All forms of people-powered mobility are welcome. Participants can enter and exit the route at any point, at any time.

CicLAvia’s organizers also highlight a list of “Local Gems” along the route. The West Adams, Jefferson Park, and University Park neighborhoods all hold a rich, unique legacy in Los Angeles history, with many historical and cultural treasures. In addition to West Adams being one of L.A.’s oldest neighborhoods, many important figures and movements have begun and grown right here in this very community. UNNC will have a booth at the Jefferson Park Hub, between 3rd and 4th Avenues. We’re looking forward to meeting you there! To find us, please see the flyer and map below.
