West Adams Jazz & Music Festival
Three Evenings: Friday to Sunday, August 29-31
Find your seats starting at 6 p.m. each evening
Live entertainment begins at 7 p.m.
7th Avenue between Adams and 25th Street
Get ready to grab your picnic baskets, chairs, and blankets, and listen to FREE music (and maybe even dance in the street) over three nights at the annual West Adams Avenues Jazz & Music Festival.
Once again, the West Adams Avenues Neighborhood Association will put out a stage next week – smack dab in the middle of 7th Avenue – and will present a fun array of singers, musical acts and other entertainment over Labor Day Weekend, free to the public. Everyone from near and far is invited. As always, UNNC (along with Council District 10) is one of the event sponsors.
This year’s MCs are Comedians Danna Kiel, Rubyn Warren II, and London Brown, and the musical acts include the Gumbo Brothers, Rush Hour, Tracy Hart and The Get Down, and Generation Harmony, among others.

Along with great music, there will also be vendors, ranging from local artisans and shopkeepers selling their wares, to food (lots of great fare) from area restaurants and food trucks. PLUS kids activities.
