Saturday, June 27
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Adams Boulevard and Gramercy Place
(Adams will be closed between Western & Arlington; Gramercy will be closed between Adams & 24th)
Saturday is Play Day! Adams Boulevard is the place.
UNNC is celebrating the power of play to bring joy, connection, and opportunity to young people everywhere. We’re proud to join @la84foundation, @playequityfund, and many other local organizations in promoting the National Day of Play. Whether it’s sports, games, outdoor activities, or simply time to play together, every child deserves access to safe and meaningful play experiences.
Adams Boulevard will be closed (starting Friday for set-up) between Western and Arlington. On Saturday, more than 3 dozen community organizations, sports teams (L.A. Clippers, L.A. Sparks, L.A. Rams, L.A. Galaxy), and government agencies will activate kids’ play of all sorts. There will also be performances, food truck vendors and Metro’s Art Bus. At UNNC’s booth, we will have coloring activities plus a 4-in-1 connect game for the kids, and our UNNC Green Master Plan mapping project — please stop by tell us where you’d like more green and play spaces!
